[COMEX gold and WTI crude oil net long positions increased significantly]

Recently, trader position data disclosed by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) showed that investor activity in the gold and oil markets has increased. As of May 21, COMEX gold speculators 'net long positions rose to 193,972 lots, an increase of 21,030 lots from the previous week. At the same time, WTI's net long positions also rose to 140,087 lots, an increase of 39,768 lots from the previous week.

In the precious metals futures market, the net long position of COMEX silver speculators shrank to 37,703 lots during the corresponding cycle, a decrease of 3,918 lots. In terms of COMEX copper, net long positions increased, rising to 75,342 lots, an increase of 2,557 lots from the previous week.

In the energy futures market, oil speculators 'net long positions in WTI increased significantly, while natural gas speculators in the four major NYMEX and ICE markets also showed a positive attitude, with net long positions increasing to 56,296 lots, an increase of 2,376 lots.
