MEXICO CITYtopplaytoearnblockchaingames, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Mexico's president-electtopplaytoearnblockchaingames, Claudia Sheinbaum, on Thursday announced the first six members of her government cabinet for the 2024-2030 period, composed of three women and three men to ensure gender parity.

Sheinbaum appointed former Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard as economy minister, Juan Ramon de la Fuente as the new foreign minister, and Julio Berdegue as agriculture minister.

Current Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena will lead the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, while Ernestina Godoy will serve as Sheinbaum's legal advisor, and Rosaura Ruiz will be the minister of science, humanities, technology and innovation.

"They know and are committed to shared prosperity, to the humanist principle of 'for everyone's well-being, the poor come first,' and they know that 'republican austerity' will continue," Sheinbaum said.
