[Growth in Precious Metals and Energy Market Positions] According to the latest data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), as of May 21, COMEX gold speculators 'net long positions rose to 193,972 lots, an increase of 21,030 lots from the previous week. In terms of precious metals futures positions, COMEX silver net long positions fell by 3,918 lots to 37,703 lots;COMEX copper net long positions increased by 2,557 lots to 75,342 lots. The energy futures market also showed a positive attitude from investors, with WTI oil net long positions rising 39,768 lots to 140,087 lots; natural gas speculators net long positions in the NYMEX and ICE markets increasing 2,376 lots, totaling 56,296 lots. In the foreign exchange futures market, the net short position in the yen is-144,367 lots, while the net long position in the euro is 41,475 lots, the net long position in the pound is 1,053 lots, and the net short position in the Swiss franc is-40,645 lots. In the stock index futures sector, equity fund managers increased their net long positions in the S & P 500CME to 946,576 lots, while speculators increased their net short positions to 317,912 lots, an increase of 38,575 lots.
